Bodhrans are available to hire
Class will restart Feb 13th 2023
This class is for people who would like to play Bodhran, but have little or no experience yet
For bodhran players who have a bit of experience, this class will help you improve your sticking and tonal techniques. You’ll work on understanding and playing more complex rhythms and accompanying both traditional and modern folk tunes; learning to play by ear and from simple scored drum nomenclature. Working on improving timing by playing along with both metronome beats and tunes, you’ll cover rhythms including more advanced reels and jigs, and complex time signatures.
